In 2006 ViaSat was selected as our strategic partner to design and develop a customized, cost efficient solution – named ‘Skylinx’ to meet the needs of rural environments. As a result of our partnership we own the exclusive distribution rights to the ViaSat system for the African continent. The contract also includes the supply of gateway’s and rural terminals, which provide a unique off-the-grid system, a system that exceeds performance expectations of any similar technology anywhere in the world in terms of seamless, affordable communications delivery.
Global Telesat (GT) A Teleport Partner located in Alicante, Spain. Rascomstar provides broadband connectivity to its customers in Africa through this facility.
